Steve joined Resolution Life in 2017 as Head of Europe and was appointed CEO of Resolution Re in October 2019.

Steve is a financial services executive with thirty years of international experience.

Steve joined Resolution Life Group from Assicurazioni Generali, where he held various senior positions including Head of Global Life and Group Head of Connected Insurance. Previously, he was head of the life business for AXA Spain and later head of the life and health business for AXA’s Southern Europe, Latin America and Middle East and North Africa markets, where he had both operational and strategic responsibilities.

Steve has a Masters in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from the university of Oxford. He is a U.K. qualified actuary.
