Takashi Nakayama serves as Chief Corporate Planning Officer, acting as the lead expatriate from Nippon Life and a member of the executive leadership team. In his role, he works closely with senior management to drive Resolution Life’s growth while ensuring strong governance, thoughtful corporate planning, and deep collaboration across the Company. With a clear understanding of stakeholder priorities, he is committed to Resolution Life becoming a driving force behind Nippon Life’s overseas business.

Takashi has spent more than 30 years with Nippon Life, primarily across its overseas and investment divisions. Prior to joining Resolution Life, he held CEO roles at an investment management subsidiary in London and an insurance subsidiary in New York.

Beyond his professional work, Takashi has volunteered at the New York City Marathon three times, encouraging runners while handing out water at the final hydration station around the 40-kilometer mark.

He holds a degree in Economics and is a qualified USCPA.
