Fitch Ratings has affirmed the Long-Term Issuer Default Ratings (IDR) of Resolution Life Group Holdings Ltd. And RLGH Finance Bermuda Ltd (collectively, Resolution Life) at 'A-'. Fitch has also affirmed the Insurer Financial Strength (IFS) ratings of Security Life of Denver Insurance Company, Resolution Re Ltd. and Resolution Life Colorado Inc. at 'A+'. In addition, Fitch has published Resolution Re Ltd.'s Long-Term IDR of 'A'. The Rating Outlook is Stable.
The ratings reflect Resolution Life's strong company profile and capitalization, as well as its strategy of reinsuring business on a block and flow basis in North America and APAC. The ratings benefit from ownership by Nippon Life Insurance Company (AA- IFS/Stable), reflecting Fitch's view that Resolution Life is very important to its parent.
